Directed by illustrator André da Loba, a regular collaborator of publications such as “The New York Times” and “Time” magazine, along with filmmaker Joana X, who was part of this same competition last year, “Armário” also marks Clã’s return to Curtas. Released during quarantine, the song was written by Capicua before the lockdown, addressing sensitive topics such as anxiety, panic and depression. The filmmakers, however, decided to convey a neoplasticist visual identity to the video, in which the contrasting colors and the movement, as well as the song’s, dynamic create a captivating and almost hypnotic effect.
