On a subway car, a family man and professional cellist, played by Matt Dillon, is doing his daily thing when he meets a disturbing stranger who will unexpectedly change his life. “Nimic” marks Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos’s return to short films, after “Dogtooth” (2009), “The Lobster” (2015) and “The Favourite” (2018), with an unusual and surrealistic tone, filled with suspense, almost no dialogue, true to the style trademarked by the director over the last few years.
