Written and directed by Jonathan Glazer, of the acclaimed “Under the Skin” (2014), “The Fall” is a short inspired by romantic Francisco Goya’s (1746-1828) engraving titled “El sueño de la razón produce monstruos”, in which a human body, supposedly the painter himself, is tormented by frightening creatures while sleeping. The short film follows the same conceptual idea, but is filled with symbols, as well as sound and visual ambiences, which promise to transport the viewer to another dimension. (PC)
