A mirror and some lighting effects are enough for Porto’s singer and artist Ghettoven, Igor Ribeiro’s alter ego, to shine right from the start of the video directed by Vasco Mendes: the way the artist is multiplied using the mirror’s different perspectives creates a magical effect from the outset. The magic continues throughout the performance, with Ghettoven embodying a series of personas and commanding the choreographies. This is Vasco Mendes’s fifth time at Curtas’ Music Video Competition, having won it in 2014, with White Haus’s “Far From Everything” video. (JA)
