Over the years, many names have been revealed in this competition, authors who continue to leave a mark in the Portuguese cinematographic panorama, recognized both at home and abroad.

In this year's edition, Curtas presents in a national premiere the most recent works of Vasco Saltão (winner of this competition in 2019), Mónica Santos (winner of the Audience Award in 2015 and 2018), Sandro Aguilar (awarded 2001 and 2005) and Filipa César (winner of the Grand Prize in 2015), among many others.
