The Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD) is a public higher education institution that develops a paradigm of quality training, focused on the adaptation and adequacy of the infrastructures it offers, promoting its research and the merit of its faculty. The move to Vila do Conde was an opportunity to modernize and consolidate the school identity, bringing the institution even closer to Curtas.

The short films presented in the showcase of the film work of the School of Media Artes and Design (ESMAD) are a selection of the most recent production made by students from the Degree in Multimedia, Degree in Audiovisual Communication Technology and also from the Master in Audiovisual Communication, as a reaction to the constraints of the last two years of the pandemic period.
