The program From Shorts to Features allows an opportunity to watch several feature films by authors who have passed through Curtas, presenting their new projects in national previews. In this edition we can watch “Ahed’s Knee”, the new film by Nadav Lapid, featured author in the 2018 edition and with several passages through the festival. From another author that Curtas has followed closely, and who was one of the highlights in 2016 (together with João Rui Guerra da Mata), João Pedro Rodrigues, we will be able to see “ Will- o’-the-Wisp “, his new film, recently screened at the Cannes festival. From Brazilian director Anna Azevedo, who has already participated in Curtas with her short film “Geral” (2010), comes “Saudade do Futuro”, her first solo feature film, a film that travels through three countries connected by sea and culture.
