As usual, the programme associated with Take One! is one of the most exciting of Curtas. In addition to getting to know the best cinema that has been produced by Portuguese students in several national and international film schools, there is always the added possibility of being able to follow the first steps of what could be the leading authors of Portuguese cinema in the coming decades.

The competitive show [TO!] Take One! is the field for the presentation of works by future Portuguese directors, whose eligibility condition is similar to any competition, but requiring registration and attendance at schools with cinema and audiovisual courses.

It is a competition that values the training work carried out by these schools and universities and that launches clues for the future. It has a minimum of 2 sessions, with an interesting history in its history, which includes authors such as João Salaviza and Leonor Teles. It was at Take One! and that these emerging values of Portuguese cinema (awarded in Berlin and Cannes) received their first prizes.

This competitive showcase has a specific selection committee, regulation and jury, and is complemented by a set of training actions.
